Masked man

 The world praised
The one face they knew.
Under your sincere smile
Lay another terrible you!

Of pandering,
Of weakening,
All done in the name of
Collective strengthening.

You died a martyr!
I wish you had lived long
Enough to see your mask torn by
The ramifications of your wrong.

Were you misguided?
Or was this premeditated?
Unsolved, this will keep us,
Ignorant, though educated.

A mind full of solitude

Oh mind, thee doth wander alone!
Of company you have no care.
Of spirited conversations, with
Maidens, petite and fair.

Joyful is thy nature.
In Solitude or in company.
Ruminations, recollections and
Observations so many!

The sun dancing on my face.
A smile twinkling in my eyes.
Oh mind, you make me joyful -
Alone, Awake and wise.
